Bangkok mobile team inoculated 4,000 at-risk people per day over past three weeks

Governor Aswin said the Bangkok’s Comprehensive COVID-19 Response Team (Bangkok CCRT) vaccinated 76,756 at-risk people between July 15th and August 2nd and the figure includes 43,916 senior citizens, 32,673 people with one of seven underlying medical conditions and 167 pregnant women.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) reports that a mobile vaccination team, tasked with protecting Bangkok’s most vulnerable residents, has inoculated more than 4,000 at-risk people per day over the past three weeks.

Bangkok Governor Aswin Kwanmuang said the Bangkok’s Comprehensive COVID-19 Response Team (Bangkok CCRT) vaccinated 76,756 at-risk people between July 15th and August 2nd. That figure includes 43,916 senior citizens, 32,673 people with one of seven underlying medical conditions and 167 pregnant women.



The Bangkok CCRT has also tested 22,337 people with antigen test kits. The results showed 19,671 people were negative, while 2,706 were infected. Of those who tested positive, 55 were sent into community isolation (CI) and 2,609 entered home isolation.


The governor said the Bangkok CCRT program is a collaboration between the BMA and its partners, adding that the team will visit another 500 areas of the capital by August 20th. (NNT)
