BANGKOK,(NNT) – Bangkok Motor Show 2017 is being held in the capital to much fanfare and expects to generate at least 40 billion baht in revenue.
Held under the theme “Reach to the Planet of Technology,” the 38th Bangkok International Motor Show is expected to stimulate private consumerism. In February, car purchases grew for a second month by 49.8% from the same period last year, and 23.5% from the previous month. Therefore, the auto sector is an important driver of economic growth in the first half of the year.
The event features several promotions from 12 renown car brands, auto parts and aftermarket accessories, and new models debuted by more than 30 automakers.
The motor show is attended by an average of 30,000 people per day. It is being held at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani Challenger Halls 1-3 until April 9th from noon until 10:00pm on weekdays and 11:00am to 10:00pm on weekends.
