BANGKOK, 26 April 2015 – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has announced its plan to develop Bangkok as a hub of education in the region by modernizing education from the basic education level.
Bangkok Governor M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra on Sunday presided over the opening ceremony of a seminar of the basic education committee of schools under the (BMA). The governor said the BMA was determined to develop education in Bangkok to be modern and keep up with global changes in line with its policy to promote education with morality.
The seminar provided a good opportunity for the BMA basic education committee to meet and exchange experience on the development of education to meet real needs and deal with problems occurring at present, the governor said. He added that Bangkok had to be a metropolis of learning.
