BANGKOK, 3 February 2016 – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is gearing up for a mass marriage registration for the upcoming Valentine’s Day.
Bangrak District Office, which is operated by the BMA, will launch a campaign to promote a marriage registration as a way to ensure legal responsibilities of both parties. Bangrak District Office is a popular place for couples to visit and obtain a marriage certificate.
The last syllable ‘Rak’, which means ‘Love’ in English, is what attracts many couples to the district each year on February 14th. Husbands and wives to be are able to file for a marriage license in advance at Bangrak District Office from now until February 12th from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. They will be given a gift and a chance to win a gold marriage certificate in a lucky draw.
