Suan Luang Rama IX Park is currently hosting the enchanting ‘Beautiful Flora in the Suan Luang Rama IX Park Fair 2023’. Starting on December 1 and running until December 10, this fair, collaboration with the Suan Luang Rama IX Foundation, is a vibrant celebration of nature’s wonders.
Covering a vast area of 500 rai of land (80 hectares), the fair will showcase a range of attractions, including fully blossomed tulips and rare plant species. A vibrant flower and ornamental plant contest will be one of the many highlights, inviting nature enthusiasts to explore the diverse flora.
Adding to the excitement, visitors can participate in the lucky draw tree activity to win exciting prizes. Several themed exhibitions will be featured, including ‘Earth, Water, Wind, Fire – Environmental Balance’, in line with royal initiatives, and ‘Miraculous Flora Exhibition towards Sustainable Development’, showcasing pathways to a sustainable future. There will also be an exhibition dedicated to endemic and rare plants of Thailand and the ‘Plearn Science Explorer Exhibition’.
A unique feature of this year’s fair is the ‘Floating Market’, which will blend local arts, performing arts, and musical performances, creating a vibrant and cultural atmosphere in the garden. A special highlight is the ‘Drone Transformation Show’ scheduled for December 10 at 7 pm, which is expected to mesmerize attendees.
This annual fair, a tradition since 1987, celebrates the founding year of Suan Luang Rama IX Park, marking its importance as a site of natural beauty and cultural heritage in Bangkok. (NNT)
