NARATHIWAT, 16 August 2015 – Betong subdistrict authorities held discussions with delegates from tour company and media from Malaysia, to expand the tourism market.
The Mayor of Betong Somyot Lertlamyong, and the Assistant Director of the Narathiwat Office Tourism Authority of Thailand Musa Yako, welcomed the delegates from the Association Of Domestic Travel, the Tourism Association of Songkhla, and Kwang Hwa Publishing from Malaysia to discuss and exchange views on tourism with local entrepreneurs. Discussion topics included new attractions and a revision of tourism packages which could help expand the tourism market of Betong.
The Mayor of Betong has said that the visit will be beneficial to both Betong and the tourism companies, in continually supporting and developing the Betong subdistrict’s tourism market. Tourist destinations in Betong will be promoted at the local and international levels.
On this occasion, the delegates were able to visit the Piyamit tunnel and other natural attractions such as temperate flowers garden, hot spring, and big trees at the Chulabhorn 10 Village and tasted local delicacies.
