AYUTTHAYA – Renovation and landscaping efforts are now underway in Ayutthaya province to improve areas around historical sites.
Ayutthaya Deputy Governor Kajornsak Charoensopa has visited Bung Praram Park to inspect the site after it was found to have been littered with garbage.
Bung Praram is a public park, where the remains of centuries-old temples are also located. According to the Deputy Governor, landscaping work will take place under a ‘Big Cleaning Day’ campaign held from November 24 – 25.
It is also aimed at restoring Ayutthaya as one of the world’s top cultural heritage destinations and bringing visitors back to the province.
