BANGKOK, 19 July 2015 – A mini rehearsal on traffic arrangement for the “Bike for Mom” rally was conducted on Sunday morning between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. and went smoothly, said Deputy Commander of the Traffic Police Division Pol Col Pusit Witsetkamin.
Pol Col Pusit said that the rehearsal took place along the route which will be used for the rally in order to test readiness of the roads, biking directions, police deployment at different points for traffic flow management.
A major rehearsal is to be held on Sunday 2 August 2015, two weeks ahead of the rally which will take place on 16 August.
Main objective of the “Bike for Mom” rally is to celebrate the 83rd birthday anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen on 12 August 2015. Leading the ride will be HRH Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn.
