BANGKOK, 2 August 2015 – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Sunday presided over the rehearsal of the “Bike for Mom” bike ride at the Royal Plaza where he started cycling to an army base on Phahonyothin road. Cabinet members, government officials and members of the general public also participated in the event.
A lot of cyclists donning blue showed up at the rehearsal of the “Bike for Mom” bike ride scheduled for 16 August 2015. The nationwide event is in honor of Her Majesty the Queen who will turn 83 on 12 August 2015. In Bangkok, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn will lead the bike ride from the Royal Plaza.
During the rehearsal, there were military officers riding with the cyclists to help prevent accidents and provide security for them.
