BANGKOK, 11 December 2013 300 blankets were given to Bueng Kan border patrol forces who are currently on duty during the cold season.
A group of housewives in Buenng Kan Province traveled to Muang District to present 300 blankets to border security forces, which included Field Army Troop 2103, Field Army Troop 2109, Mekong Riverine Operation Unit, and Border Patrol Police.
The group then walked around to greet each unit and build morale among the officers, while expressing their concerns on the officers’ health as the weather gets cooler and cooler every day.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department predicted that the temperature would drop 6-8 degrees Celsius during December 11-16, while warning motorists to be aware of thick fog when travelling in the morning.
