BANGKOK, 10 Jan 2014, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has prepared measures to facilitate the capital’s residents during the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC)’s planned mass rally on January 13th.
The decision came during the BMA meeting on Thursday, which was presided over by BMA Governor M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra. The BMA’s main objective is to mitigate difficulties causing by the rally as much as possible for those residing in the affected areas.
The PDRC’s main rally sites include the Government complex on Jaengwattana Road, the Ladprao intersection, the Victory Monument, the Patumwan intersection, Lumpini Park, the Asokemontree intersection, and the Ratchaprasong intersection, among others.
The PDRC has planned to march through and occupy 20 key roads and intersections in the city to prevent civil servants from going to work in its bid to topple the Yingluck administration.
