BMA to provide free lung X-rays throughout November

BANGKOK, 6 November 2013 (NNT) – Dr. Pirapong Saicheua, deputy governor of Bangkok, revealed that the Health Department of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has set up mobile x-ray units for the chest in order to scan for tuberculosis (TB) among citizens. The service which shall be free of charge, will commence on November 7 in Yannawa District. 

The Health Department will coordinate with the Ministry of Public Health centers in local areas, as well as providing useful knowledge about TB for the public.
