TAK, 11 March 2015 – The Deputy Director-General of the Public Relations Department (PRD) has made his remark on the five border districts of Tak during his field observation, saying the area has great potential but will need continuous support.
The PRD Deputy Director-General Prawin Pattanapong conducted a field observation of the border districts of Tak province, as well as Thai-Myanmar cultural attractions in the area on the subjects of trade, investment, and tourism.
He has said that the objectives of this field observation is to gather information for consideration of the Thai-Myanmar Special Economic Zone’s public relations planning campaign.
From the observation, the PRD Deputy Director-General has said that the tourism attractions in the five west-border districts of Tak, as well as the Myawaddy province of Myanmar will require support and renovation in aspects of site restoration and conservation with respect to the local traditions.
He has also said that Thai youth should increase their knowledge in foreign languages, such as English and Burmese to be able to use the languages to communicate in the area.
He concluded that the improvement in all aspects will sustainably improve the people’s quality of life in the special economic zone.
