BANGKOK, 10 September 2013 The Cabinet on Tuesday approved an agreement between Thailand and Montenegro on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports.
Deputy Government Spokesman Phakdeeharn Himathongkham said the agreement was aimed at facilitating Thai and Montenegrin travelers who had diplomatic and official passports in entering each other’s country. They would be entitled to a visa-free entry for a maximum period of 90 days.
Mr Phakdeeharn elaborated that the agreement would help strengthen the relations between the two countries and pave the way for closer ties in other fields, especially politics, economy and tourism.
The two parties however have the right to deny entry to the passport holders for national security and public health reasons.
