BANGKOK, 25 July 2012 – The Cabinet is ready to hear problems of the public during its upcoming mobile meeting in the Northeast.
Deputy government spokesperson Anusorn Iamsa-ad said on Tuesday that the planned Cabinet Retreat in Surin Province during July 29th and 30th will be co-hosted by all provinces in the lower part of the northeastern region.
These provinces include Nakhon Ratchasima, Chaiyaphum, Buriram, Surin, Ubon Ratchathani, Amnat Charoen, Si Saket and Yasothon.
Mr. Anusorn said that the entire Cabinet will take part in the almsgiving on elephants in Surin and visit various constituencies before the Retreat, during July 26th and 29th.
He added that Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Kittiratt Na-Ranong will be inspecting the road surface improvement project in Nakhon Ratchasima, while Deputy Transport Minister Chadchart Sittipunt will check on the canal dredging project in Buriram.
Moreover, Agriculture Minister Theera Wongsamut will be looking at the sluice gate construction project in Surin, with Justice Minister Pracha Promnog in charge of the road development there.
The deputy government spokesperson said that other ministers will also visit voters to listen to their problems and needs before the Joint Private-Public Committee meeting on July 29th.
