BANGKOK, 9 May 2012 – The Cabinet is scheduled to take on more mobile meetings at least during the next few months.
Acting government spokesperson Anusorn Iamsa-ad said on Tuesday that the weekly Cabinet meeting has resolved to go on a Retreat in western Kanchanaburi Province during May 19th and 20th.
The planned mobile meeting will see Labor Minister as the host, according to Mr. Anusorn.
He added that today’s discussion also mentioned another Cabinet Retreat, tentatively to take place during June 18th and 19th.
It was preliminarily agreed that the host of the June Retreat will be Culture Minister and will likely be held in Chonburi Province.
The acting government spokesperson said that the prime minister has instructed all related ministers to make inspection trips to meet with voters in concerned areas, particularly in Rayong Province, where a fresh case of chemical leakage has recently occurred and worried nearby residents and communities.
