SA KAEO, Thailand – This is the first event of its kind, a chance to go camping under the stars while gazing at the Milky Way, which is surrounded by the picturesque landscape of Pang Sida National Park.
The program “Starry Night Camping @ Pangsida” will be held on 19-20 April 2025, at Chong Klam Bon Reservoir, located in Pang Sida National Park in Sa Kaeo Province.
Activities will commence in the evening, including basic stargazing and star photography instruction by members of the Sakaeo Science Center for Education, listening to live music, viewing stars through a telescope, observing the Milky Way, and telling stories, as well as sharing stargazing experiences the next morning.
If you get there early, one of the don’t-miss daytime activities in the park is butterfly watching. Pang Sida is recognized as the best butterfly-watching spot in the eastern region.
