CHANTABURI – The Chantaburi Provincial Office of Commerce organized a seminar to promote the competitiveness of Thai business entrepreneurs in the wake of the ASEAN Economic Community.
The event was designed as part of the Eastern Fair 2016 to promote economic and trade relations between Thailand and Cambodia. The opening ceremony for the seminar was presided by deputy Chantaburi provincial governor Klanarong Phongcharoen.
Chantaburi Provincial Office of Commerce head Niannuwa Sulaiman said the province has been obviously hectic with activities related to trade and investment, given its geographical proximity to Cambodian border areas. He said Thai entrepreneurs and other businesspersons have been more encouraged to invest in Cambodia and Vietnam.
