PHETCHABURI – The famous Chao Samran beach in the capital district of Phetchaburi province had welcomed more than 20,000 visitors daily during the New Year holidays.
Tourists were attracted by the beach’s relaxing vistas and numerous food and local product vendors. Municipality officials were on the scene to assist tourists and screen local vendors for fair pricing.
Officials credited the high tourist turnout of Chao Samran beach to the municipality’s PR campaigns and strict regulation of public space. They also cited the beach’s natural beauty and the municipality’s readiness to look after tourists.
