PRESS RELEASE: Events at four of Thailand’s key international airports were held on Monday September 25 to welcome the first groups of tourist arrivals from the People’s Republic of China and Republic of Kazakhstan under the temporary tourist visa exemption scheme.
At Chiang Mai International Airport, the airport welcome was for arriving passengers on two flights from China: China Eastern Airline Flight MU205 from Shanghai and Flight MU2563 from Kunming.
