The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has announced that Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, and Phuket were the most popular flight destinations from January to March this year.

For the Bangkok to Chiang Mai route, the CAAT said Nok Air, Thai AirAsia, and Thai Lion Air offered up to 10, 13, and 5 daily flights, respectively. Thai AirAsia charged the highest fares, while Nok Air provided the most affordable options.



For the Bangkok to Hat Yai route, which connects travelers to the southern economic hub of Songkhla province, flight frequencies included three by Nok Air, eight by Thai AirAsia, and four by Thai Lion Air per day. Thai AirAsia’s tickets were the priciest, and Thai Lion Air offered the lowest-priced tickets.



Regarding the route between Bangkok and Phuket, a popular island destination in the Andaman Sea, Nok Air operated up to six flights daily, Thai AirAsia 13 and Thai Lion Air four. Nok Air’s tickets were the most expensive, while Thai Lion Air again provided the cheapest option.
