CHONBURI, 1 July 2015 – Chonburi province is preparing to hold the 26th National Labor Skill Competition in preparation for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
Skill Development Institute Region 3, Chonburi has organized a meeting to set up the 26th National Labor Skill Competition, catering to the ASEAN Economic Community’s industrial sector.
The regional-level competition includes Chonburi, Rayong, Chantaburi, Trat, Chachoengsao, Prachinburi, and Sa Kaeo provinces. It aims to improve the labor skills of the next generation, as well as the workforce of various vocations. The tournament is held every two years and allows the general public a chance demonstrate their talents, skills, and knowledge. The winner will represent the region to compete at the national level in Bangkok.
This competition, organized by Skill Development Institute Region 3, Chonburi, has pushed business operators to expand their potential and strengthen the labor market.
The competition will be held on July 8-10, between 24 vocational occupations.
