BANGKOK, 27 March 2016 – Chulabhorn Hospital has inaugurated a brain clinic as part of its plan to enhance the well-being of the elderly.
During the inauguration, Chulabhorn Hospital held a talk on how to prevent and treat dementia by medical specialists. According to doctors, there are more than 400,000 dementia patients and the country will become an aged society and later a super aged society in the next 10 and 20 years respectively. Therefore, it is necessary to ready the country for the challenge.
The brain clinic has been set up in response to Prof. Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn’s wish to develop Chulabhorn Hospital into a center of academic and medical excellence that can fully serve the public.
