Paveekorn Samphanwiwat reported to the Bhuping Police Station that he had been attacked and left with a broken arm in front of the Kiang Mor Condominium, he told police he waited to recover enough to report the crime.

He told police that he had left the Damnernsaduk Coffee Shop next to the condominium to go home when he was accosted by 22 year old Wutthikorn Donpan and his friends. Wutthikorn, an economics student at Payap University, claimed that Paveekorn had looked at him wrong. Paveekorn explained he didn’t know him and was sorry if there was any misunderstanding or bad feeling but told police that Wutthikorn still attacked him and slammed in between two cars, breaking his arm and injuring his face.

Paveekorn said he and his friends tried to end the problem and leave but that Wutthikorn tried to continue beating him with a baseball bat. The man’s friends stopped him from continuing the assault the victim alleged. The mother of the victim insisted to police that they prosecute the other man for the assault. Paveekorn is the nephew of Rear Admiral Dr. Mayuree Samphanwiwat.
