‘Colors, Reflecting Art’ exhibition showcases rich history of Thailand’s majestic Royal Barge Procession

The “Colors, Reflecting Art” exhibition is held on the occasion of the royal merit-making ceremony for the offering of kathin robes as part of the Royal Barge Procession on 27 October 2024 at Wat Arun in Bangkok.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Royal Thai Navy, in collaboration with other public and private sector organizations, is holding the “Colors, Reflecting Art” exhibition on the occasion of the royal merit-making ceremony for the offering of kathin robes as part of the Royal Barge Procession on 27 October 2024 at Wat Arun in Bangkok.



Highlights of the exhibition include a display of an 11-meter replica of the Suphannahong barge and other major royal barges, as well as pictures showing the royal procession by water with 52 barges, the rich history of making royal barges, oarsmen costumes, and other elements.

The general public, both Thais and foreigners, are encouraged to experience Thailand’s majestic Royal Barge Procession at the “Colors, Reflecting Art” exhibition, from today until 31 October 2024, at Iconlux Avenue, M Floor, Iconsiam Shopping Center. Admission is free. (PRD)
