Deliberation of fiscal 2016 budget bill completes review of allocations for 3 ministries

BANGKOK, 14 June 2015 – The special committee in charge of the fiscal 2016 budget bill has completed the deliberation of the budget allocation for three ministries.

Lt. Gen. Chartudom Titthasiri, spokesman of the special committee, said that the deliberation of the next fiscal year’s budget has been planned to be completed within 48 days, starting from May 26.

Mr. Chartudom said that the review of the budget allocation has already been finished for the Finance Ministry, the ICT Ministry and the Natural Resources Ministry. no cut has been made in the budget allocation, he said.

He added that the committee is currently deliberating the budget allocated for the Commerce Ministry.

Mr. Chartudom, however, stated that the debilitation will be in accordance with the policies of the government and the National Economic and Social Plan which call for the efficient use of the budget while minimizing the inequality in the society and maximizing the use of the budget for the interest of the public.
