BANGKOK, 21 April 2015 – The Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP), which is under the Ministry of Industry, is inviting Thai manufacturers of all sizes to fill out applications to be considered for a Prime Minister’s Industry Award, the annual honorary awards that are given to outstanding businesses in the industrial manufacturing sector.
The award is divided into two broad categories:
1. The Prime Minister’s Best Industry Award (for Overall Achievement)
2. The Prime Minister’s Industry Award (which is broken out into seven categories)
a. Excellence in Productivity
b. Excellence in Environment Quality Conservation
c. Excellence in Safety Management
d. Excellence in Quality Management
e. Excellence in Energy Management
f. Excellence in Small and Medium Industries Management
g. Excellence in Logistics Management
