KRABI, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) invites travelers to explore the stunning beauty of Koh Lao Lading, a secluded and picturesque island in Krabi, renowned as another “paradise island” in Thailand.
Krabi is celebrated for its breathtaking coastal attractions, and Koh Lao Lading is a hidden gem within the Hong Archipelago, located in the Than Bok Khorani National Park in Ao Luek, Krabi. Once a concession island for swiftlet nests, Koh Lao Lading has now been removed from the bird’s nest collection list, allowing visitors to experience its natural splendor.
Despite its small size and hidden location, Koh Lao Lading boasts remarkable natural beauty, earning it the nickname “Paradise Island” among many travelers. The island features a small sandy bay where visitors can enjoy swimming, and the numerous tall coconut palms enhance the picturesque setting. The combination of the beach, crystal-clear waters, and surrounding mountains creates a stunning backdrop, making it a must-visit spot on the island. Additionally, the island is home to several beautiful limestone cave formations.
Traveling to Koh Lao Lading can be arranged through day tour packages or by chartering a long-tail boat from Ao Nang, Nopparat Thara Beach, or Nong Thale. The boat ride takes approximately 45 minutes, allowing visitors to explore Koh Lao Lading, Koh Hong, and Koh Pak Bia. (TAT)
