BANGKOK, 25 August 2015 – The Department of Medical Science (DMS) is running a free mammogram screening for 184 women, in an attempt to reduce the rate of breast cancer in Thailand.
The test is a collaborative effort between the DMS and Public Relations Department. According to DMS Director General Suphan Srithamma, 184 women will be chosen to undergo screening based on their family history of breast cancer.
The collaboration between the two agencies is in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 83rd birthday anniversary. Those interested are able to contact National Cancer Institute for more information.
