BANGKOK, 22 July 2015, Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam yesterday opened a center set up under the newly-enforced Public Facilitation Act B.E.2558 at the the Office of the Civil Service Commission on Phitsanulok Road.
The Deputy Prime Minister said the Public Facilitation Center would ensure that all government units provide services related to issuance of permits and licenses in a proper and timely manner. It will promote transparency of the government services at all stages and accelerate public access to information.
The center will also accept complaints about government services and will forward such cases to the government for improvement measures. The center is the first of its kind, located on the first floor of the Office of the Civil Service Commission on Phitsanulok Road. Residents can reach the center via its hotline 1111 extension number 22. Such a center will be set up in each ministry to coordinate the service which involves 148 departments of twenty ministries.
