A blue Honda Civic bursts into flames after crashing into a utility pole, leaving the vehicle destroyed but its occupants miraculously saved.

BANGKOK, Thailand – A blue Honda Civic caught fire after a high-speed crash into a utility pole on Prasert Manukit Road, opposite Chocolate Ville in Khan Na Yao district. The incident occurred at 2:48 AM, prompting police from Bueng Kum Station to dispatch Bang Chan rescue units and fire crews to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the vehicle engulfed in flames after it had collided with the pole. It took approximately 20 minutes to extinguish the fire, but the car was completely destroyed.


A witness reported seeing the car speeding before it vaulted over the median and lost control, crashing into the pole. Moments later, flames erupted from beneath the engine compartment. Good Samaritans rushed to pull the male driver and a female passenger from the vehicle just before the fire intensified.

Preliminary checks by emergency responders revealed that both occupants sustained injuries but were not in serious condition. They were taken to the hospital for further evaluation. Authorities plan to interview them after their recovery to determine the exact cause of the accident. (TNA)
