The employer of a Myanmar worker who was shot dead in a shopping mall in Bangkok is determined to pursue legal action to the fullest despite the involvement of a minor in the incident.

Two women, a Myanmar worker and a Chinese tourist were killed by a 14-year-old boy in the shooting spree at the Siam Paragon mall on Tuesday. Five others were injured.



The family of the Myanmar worker who succumbed to injuries due to multiple gunshot wounds has made arrangements to bring the body for funeral in their home country.

Her employer at ‘Take Toys’ said at the time of the incident she went to deposit the store’s money in a bank. The employer further asserted that the deceased had no prior conflicts with anyone.



Meanwhile, the family of the Chinese tourist who lost her life in the same tragic event is still grappling with the loss, especially given that the deceased had young children.

Pol Lt Gen Sophonrat Singhajaru, Chief Physician of the Police General Hospital revealed that regardless of whether individuals were injured or lost their lives, Their Majesties the King and Queen have received them under the royal patronage. (TNA)
