BANGKOK – Prime Minister’s Office on Friday started selling face masks to the public to alleviate shortage of face masks.
10,000 face masks are available for sale at each of the two locations at Gate 6 of Government House near the Makkhawan Rangsan Bridge and the Public Complaint Centre at Gate 4 on Phitsanulok Road.
Ten pieces costs 25 baht. The selling will continue for 15 days.
Meanwhile, the Royal Thai Army has handed out 45,000 face masks in Bangkok for three days until tomorrow at crowded places such as electric train stations and markets.
Today, face masks will be given away at Mahboonkrong (MBK) Center, Pratunam and Santiparb Park near the Victory Monument from 3-5 pm.
On Saturday, from 8-10 am., face masks will be handed out at CentralPlazaLatPhrao, the Chutuchak Weekend Market, and the Ratchawat Market in the morning from 8-10 am. and at CentralWorld, Siam Square, and the Sri Yan Market from 3-5 pm.
