CHACHOENGSAO – The Chachoengsao Provincial Administration has recently held an event to celebrate the Family Day and the Senior Citizens’ Day.
Chachoengsao Deputy Governor Paisan Wimonrut presided over the opening ceremony of the event, during which awards were handed out to three model families.
The event featured a lecture on the government’s social welfare system for senior citizens while Chachoengsao’s family assembly and social welfare assembly also met to discuss how members would benefit from the formation of the two networks.
The event was also intended to raise awareness about the importance of family institution and senior citizens’ value. It also provided an opportunity for all to express their opinions and take part in the development of the family institution and senior citizens at the policy-making level.
