Thai Ticket Major Company was granted the right to sell 2018 World Cup’s tickets for the selection round of the last 12 teams of Asian Zone and for the five home matches of the Thai football team.
The decision to grant the right of selling the tickets to Thai Ticket Major, the first runner-up of the bid for the right, was made by the Football Association of Thailand on Friday after it revoked the right of the winner of the bid, Fort Smart Service Company.
Ticket sale is due to start on Monday and each buyer can buy at most two tickets each and buyers will be required to show their ID cards. Only 5,000 tickets are reserved for 5-match package ticket sale.
Tickets are priced at 600, 500, 400, 300, 200 and 100 baht apiece. A 20 percent discount will be given to fans who buy in a package of five games each at 800 baht.
Advance bookings can be made through all branches of Thak Ticket Major, all Tesco Lotus chain stores and all Major Cineplex and EGV theatres or through the following website: www.thaiticketmajor.com.
The schedules of Thai football matches are as follows: September 6 against Japan; November 15 against Australia; March 23, 2017 against Saudi Arabia; June 13 against UAE and August 31 2017 against Iraq.
