The British Embassy in Bangkok is set to host the first-ever UK-Thailand Financial Conference, a further step in strengthening the longstanding relationship between the United Kingdom and Thailand. Scheduled for March 28 at the Park Hyatt Ploenchit, this event follows the establishment of the Joint Trade and Economic Committee in 2022.
The upcoming gathering is expected to address critical areas such as financial inclusion, cyber-security, sustainable finance, and innovation. It also seeks to provide a valuable opportunity for high-level decision-makers and industry leaders from both countries to connect, exchange insights, and explore potential collaborative ventures.
Lord Dominic Johnson, the UK’s Minister of Investment, is slated to deliver the keynote address. He will be joined by the British ambassador to Thailand, Mark Gooding, alongside other prominent guests and executives. The conference will also feature panel discussions tabling topics such as generative AI, corporate ESG, pressing financial issues, and technological advancements.
A networking lunch following the discussions will offer attendees further opportunities to engage and forge connections. Interested parties can register for the conference at www.twtr.to/yNti1 (NNT)
