Five locations in Thailand filmed in new K-pop MV ‘Rains in Heaven’

According to Thailand’s Film Office, the records of international music video filming production in Thailand in 2024 (from 1 January to 31 August) found 26 projects, with a budget of 106.65 million baht (US$3.1 million).

Thailand has long been the preferred destination for international music video shooting. Recently, the K-pop band from South Korea “NCT Dream” has released its new video for the song “Rains in Heaven,” with its scenes showcasing various locations in Thailand. Earlier this June, the production team and artists, 22 people in all, came to shoot in Thailand. They took two days for filming, using five locations in Bangkok, Nakhon Nayok, and Pathum Thani provinces, listed here:

– Wang Takrai National Park in Nakhon Nayok Province, which is renowned for its beautiful landscapes, streams that flow along small the rocky creek, and a wide variety of plants;

– An abandoned building in Ongkharak district, Nakhon Nayok Province;

– An abandoned building in Min Buri District, Bangkok;



– Makkasan train factory in Pathumwan District, Bangkok, a spacious green space in the middle of the business center of Bangkok;

– A country club in Khlong Luang District in Pathum Thani Province.
