Moroccan meteorological authorities reported that last month saw unpredictable weather patterns and high humidity levels, resulting in heavy rainfall. Some areas received over 200 millimeters of rain within just 48 hours, leading to flash floods.

In the past two to three months, several countries surrounding the Sahara Desert have experienced significant rainfall, resulting in over 1,460 fatalities. Experts warn that such disasters may become more frequent in the future due to the impacts of global climate change.
