Foreign Affairs Ministry announces that all of Thaksin’s travel documents cancelled

BANGKOK, 1 June 2015 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the revocation of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra’s second passport, affirming the former PM has had two passport revoked while his diplomatic passport has been canceled since 2008.

According to the Ministry, before the latest revocation took place on May 26, 2015, the former PM was carrying two passports, one with the number of U957441 and the other Z530117. His diplomatic passport number D215863 was revoked by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on December 15, 2008, said the spokesman.

The Ministry has disclosed the information in order to clarify to the public that all of Mr Thaksin’s travel documents have been been cancelled.
