H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, together with BIMSTEC Foreign Ministers, paid a joint call on H.E. Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, after the Second BIMSTEC Foreign Ministers’ Retreat in New Delhi on 12 July 2024.
On this occasion, all parties discussed ways to enhance and strengthen regional cooperation in the areas of mutual interests and benefits, including under BIMSTEC cooperation framework. The Prime Minister of India conveyed full support to Thailand for a successful BIMSTEC Summit in Bangkok in September this year. (MFA)
