H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony of Sa Kaeo Passport Office on 17 July 2024. The office was setup to facilitate passport application for Thai people in Sa Kaeo, many of whom travel frequently in and out of Cambodia via Ban Klong Luk Border Checkpoint in Aranyaprathet, which is an important gateway for border trade, as well as a key passage way for tourists, connecting with the city of Siem Reap in Cambodia.
On this occasion, the Foreign Minister inspected the Passport Office and instructed The Office to provide tangible services to the people and to cooperate with various agencies of Sa Kaeo province to promote good relations with Cambodia in the area of border trade and security of the two countries.
