Foreign Minister visits Samsung C-Lab, center for start-up companies registered in South Korea

Maris was received by Mr. Jeon Pilgyu, Samsung Executives Vice President and Head of Samsung Creativity & Innovation Center, and was briefed about the roles of Samsung C-lab as well as the successful cases of start-ups specializing in robotic, cybersecurity, and smart agriculture.

H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, took a field visit to the Samsung C-Lab, which has served as a support center for start-up companies registered in South Korea on 1 August 2024.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs was received by Mr. Jeon Pilgyu, Samsung Executives Vice President and Head of Samsung Creativity & Innovation Center, and was briefed about the roles of Samsung C-lab as well as the successful cases of start-ups specializing in robotic, cybersecurity, and smart agriculture. During the discussion, Minister Maris emphasized the importance of start-up companies to the economy as a whole.



Samsung C-Lab was established in 2011 and has supported more than 400 SMEs from various industries, including robotics, AI, information technology and healthcare. (MFA)
