Foreign Ministry opens new legalization office at Central World Bangkok, reserve queue online

H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, inaugurated the Legalization Office, Pathum Wan, aiming to improve access to legalization services in Bangkok.

BANGKOK, Thailand – H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, on 27 November presided over the Inaugural Ceremony of the Legalization Office, Pathum Wan, at Central World.

Also in attendance were Mr. Worawoot Pongprapapant, Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs, Miss Rujires Neerapatama, Head of Government Affairs & Land Acquisition (Institutional), Central Pattana Public Company Limited, representatives from diplomatic missions in Thailand, as well as representatives from government and private sectors and press members.



The opening of the new Legalization Office, Pathum Wan, aims to make legalization services more accessible. This initiative comes in response to the growing demand for legalization services, driven by increased cross-border activities, trade, and investment by individuals and businesses. This also aligns with the government’s strategy on putting people as the center and fulfill the Ministry’s vision of “Diplomacy for the People,” which prioritizes continuous improvements of consular services. Being at the centre of Bangkok, the new Legalization Office, Pathum Wan, will ensure easy access of legalization services for all.




The Legalization Office, Pathum Wan, is located on the 6th floor, D Zone at Central World. Services will be available on Monday – Friday during 10.00 – 16.30 hrs. (except for official and public holidays). All applicants can reserve the queue online at https://qlegal.consular.go.th/.
