Six pieces of body parts were wrapped in black plastic sheets and stored in a freezer on the ground floor of the five-storey shophouse in Sukhumvit Soi 56 in Phra Khanong district.

The identity or nationality of the victim is unknown.

Police arrested one Briton, two Americans and two Myanmar nationals during the raid of the shophouse. One policeman was wounded by gunshots to his stomach when one of the fake passport gang members grabbed a gun from a safe and opened fire.

After the arrest of the five suspects, police searched the shophouse and seized six handguns, fake passports, a printer, chemicals and methamphetamine. Fake passports bearing the photos of the suspects in different names were also found.

Then the police moved to the freezer for an examination. When they opened it up, they found blood stains and six plastic bags containing body parts.

Police are yet to determine the identities of the suspects as they declined to give any testimonies.
