The Department of Trade Negotiations (DTN) is organizing the annual FTA Fair, showcasing innovative products, while creating a better understanding of free trade areas (FTAs) and trade regulations.
Deputy Commerce Minister Sinit Lertkrai said the fair would provide opportunities for business partners, promote agricultural products and expand customer bases.
This year’s event is joined by 40 exhibitors from community enterprises, capable farmers and enterprises around Thailand, bringing together BCG products, future food products, textiles and jewelry.
A seminar on free trade opportunities, an FTA and RCEP clinic, workshops, and mini-concerts are also being held on the sidelines of the event.
The FTA Fair is expected to serve as a platform for farmers and enterprises to showcase their products to an international audience both online and offline, while also taking advantage of existing FTA and RCEP agreements.
The RCEP, or Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, is a free trade agreement that was recently signed among the Asia-Pacific nations.
The fair is being held from now until December 6 and was organized at Paradise Park Shopping Center in Bangkok’s Prawet district. (NNT)
