BANGKOK, 3 June 2015 – The Committee on Special Economic Zone (SEZ) has appointed Commerce Minister General Chatchai Sarikalya as the chairman of the SEZ Public Relations Subcommittee.
The announcement was made by Deputy Commerce Minister Apiradee Tantraporn, who clarified that the new panel is responsible for giving suggestions on marketing and handling of public relations affairs. She said the PR Subcommittee would promote investment in various special economic zones among local and international investors.
Ms. Apiradee said several road shows encouraging foreign investors to explore opportunities in the special economic zones will be held in various nations. At the same time, a series of seminars will be arranged in the Kingdom to attract local entrepreneurs.
Ms. Apiradee added that various media outlets, social media and billboard signs will be used to advertise SEZ investments.
