BANGKOK – At the Prime Minister’s office, 2nd floor, Thai Koo Fah Building, Government House, the Children’s Day Event Organizing committee, the Secretariat of the Prime Minister, has allowed children to sit on the Prime Minister’s chair on the occasion of Children’s Day 2020.
This year, children had lined up to sit on the Prime Minister’s chair since 7 a.m. The first one who sat on the Prime Minister’s chair was Saran Tosombun, 11, from Anuban Nakhon Ratchasima School, Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima district, Nakhon Ratchasima province.
He said that his family had travelled from Nakhon Ratchasima specifically for this annual event for five years in a row. This year, he woke up at 4 a.m. to prepare to travel to Government House with his mother and arrived at Government House at 6.30 a.m.
He said he was more excited and happier than other years as he was the first one who sat on the chair of the Prime Minister. He chose to visit Government House because he is a fan of Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha and the Children Day’s activities at the Government House are fun. He went on to provide moral support to the Prime Minister.
