BANGKOK – The Government Housing Bank’s board chairman Surachai Danaitangtrakul said the state-owned bank has organized New Year’s Gift 2016 project to promote financial discipline for its customers.
GHB will grant 1,000 baht as a New Year’s gift for low-income earners who currently owe some debts to the bank. Those entitled to the grant must owe no more than 500,000 baht per collateral and have a good repayment record for 36 consecutive months.
About 104,000 customers are found to meet such conditions and can receive the grant money from December 17, 2015 until February 29, 2016 at any GHB branch across the country or at the GHB headquarters during office hours.
