BANGKOK, 20 September 2013 Parliament president Somsak Kiatsuranont is calling a special House meeting next week to consider the Yingluck administration’s first-year performance.
On September 24, the administration will report its performance during the first year in office which has been overdue since taking the national helm in August 2011.
The 225-page report which had been forwarded to the House since May 23 last year details the outcome of the government’s urgent and long-term policies.
Under Section 75 of the constitution, cabinet ministers are required to inform the parliament what they have accomplished annually as well as submit their annual performance report to the parliament once a year.
