BANGKOK, July 2015 – To celebrate the Mother’s Day festival, the government is preparing to hold a fair especially geared to mothers at Klong Padung Krung Kasem.
The Ministry of Industry has been assigned to be the main organizer of the event while the Ministry of Culture and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration will be the key supporters. Objectives of the program are to commemorate the August 12 birthday anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen, raise awareness of the role of mothers and promote mother and child industries.
The event will bring together selected producers and distributors of mother and child items and services, which will be offered at affordable prices. The fair will take place from August 3 until 23 at Klong Padung Krung Kasem beside Government House. Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-ocha will chair the opening ceremony.
